Recognizing the importance of constantly upgrading our practices to create an overall sustainable system, the Coach Group’s Green initiative has facilitated the planting of several thousand trees across every facility in the country. Our efforts towards creating a zero-waste system is exemplified by the processes we have in place at our manufacturing plants.
We are constantly working towards uplifting our facilities in order to go beyond the environmental protection standards put forth by the Indian government and international standards. We not only pay close attention to the waste disposal systems at our facilities, but have also invested in the best sustainable practices such as the installation of solar panels, rain-water harvesting, wind turbines, and more.
As the world embraces the importance of environmental sustainability, Coach place a greater emphasis on addressing the global water crisis and minimizing its impact to themselves and the planet. Through CSR we mainly plan & implement Watershed Development Projects & other related activities with the help of NGOs.
Tree plantation has been a regular activity at Coach. Our teams not only plant trees around the operational sites, but also ensures their survival by erecting tree guards and carefully nurtures them till the sapling matures into a tree. Coach contributes towards making the environment clean and green through tree plantation drives as a regular practice which contributes to a healthy ecosystem.
It is always a joy being around with children. Our team is actively in touch with various school authorities, and we contribute to our best efforts for rural school development.
Education is of utmost importance for child development. We have been working very hard to uplift the standards of rural schools and ITI’s in our community. For the purpose of Educational Initiatives Coach International has done PPP partnered with ITI Deodar (Industrial Training Institute).
